Luminos Labs Venice has moved!
This month, Luminos Labs is making an extremely exciting move to our new home in Los Angeles, CA. This is a much-needed step to reach new markets, and it will further ingrain us in the growing and vibrant technology hub in nearby Playa Vista. Most importantly, this move supports the recent growth in our marketing and business development departments and also leaves room for us to scale up in the near future.
Our new home
This new space, located on the 12th floor of the Century building in Los Angeles, is a more upscale representation of our older office.
It has the same sleek and professional appearance while also providing a spacious floor plan for us to think creatively and communicate easily. At Luminos, this is an important facet of our culture, and it’s part of what allows us to work so well together. Simply put, the synergy that comes with having a flatter office helps our company and team members thrive.
As far as amenities go, we’re experiencing a significant increase in office size, and we’ll also have some new glass door conference rooms at our disposal. Our conference rooms have served as excellent spaces for our teams to collaborate and think clearly about strategy, and the improved space will allow us to better engage with our clients, too. Of course, we’ve got the standard craft and services table as well.
And last, but certainly not least, we’ve got this spectacular view. It’s a great sight to see every day, but most importantly, it’s a little reminder of how far we’ve come, and how much more we hope to achieve in this ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
Embracing the shift in the industry
You may have heard some rumors about Los Angeles slowly becoming the new Silicon Valley (or Silicon Beach, rather). Whether you believe this is the case or not, the Westside has recently undergone significant developments in regard to its emergence as a technology hub. We would like to share a few of the reasons we’ve chosen this prime location for our new home:
- Silicon beach. Similar to what happened in the Bay Area, more and more tech companies are starting to flock to Venice, Santa Monica, Culver City, and Playa Vista, just a mile down the road from our office. More than 500 prominent tech companies, including Google, Yahoo, and YouTube, have moved offices to Playa Vista, and the area is considered the hub of the “Silicon Beach.” We would love to get closer to this hub to have a closer relationship with this community.
- E-commerce opportunities. In that vein, many tech startups have migrated to this area. We’re excited to develop relationships with these companies and engage in e-commerce business opportunities with them. Moreover, there are a great deal of strong retail businesses, which is always a pleasant sound to our ears.
- Steps from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). On a smaller note, we’ve picked out a prime location near LAX, which will be advantageous, considering we work with a great variety of clients from different parts of the world. Additionally, with our offices in multiple cities across the US, this is a great place to be when members from our team fly out for routine work visits.
These are just a few benefits of our new location and office. We’re happy to call Playa Vista our new home, and we’re super excited for the opportunities it brings.
We’re moving, but no worries – you can still find us
